BOOKING, CANCELLATIONS & PAYMENT TERMS FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORIES OF BOOKINGS

 

DIRECT BOOKINGS:

  • Discount of 5% - Only for direct bookings made via our website www.dezeven.co.za or via email to info@dezeven.co.za
  • A Complimentary bottle of wine is included in all direct bookings
  • 20% Deposit payment is required to secure the reservation and taken at time of the booking
  • Deposits are payable via a payment link or via bank transfer for which proof of payment is to be emailed to info@dezeven.co.za
  • Please ensure that the Reservation Number is used as a Reference when making bank transfers
  • The balance including any additional costs incurred during the stay is payable on check out at De Zeven.
  • Settlement can be done via Credit/Debit card
  • Cancellation – Fully refundable up to 8 days prior to arrival subject to an administration fee of R500
  • Cancellation 7 days or less prior to arrival, 20% of the total accommodation amount will be charged
  • In the event of a “no show” 100% of the reservation will be charged
  • In event of premature departure, the full extent of stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged

 

BOOKING.COM & OTHER BOOKING PLATFORMS

  • 50% Deposit payment is required to secure the reservation and taken at time of booking
  • Please take note of Booking.com T’s & C’s
  • The balance including any additional costs incurred during the stay is payable on check out at De Zeven.
  • Settlement can be done via Credit/Debit card
  • Cancellation – Fully refundable up to 15 days prior to arrival
  • Cancellation 14 days or less prior to arrival, 50% of the total accommodation amount will be charged.
  • In the event of a “no show” 100% of the reservation will be charged
  • In event of premature departure, the full extent of stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged
  • Please refer to the cancellation terms received via Booking.com at the time of booking, these may supercede current policy if booking/cancellation terms were different at the time of booking. Enquire directly for any further clarification

 

GROUP BOOKINGS including TOUR OPERATORS (1-3 rooms)

  • 100% Payable 30 days prior to arrival
  • Please ensure the Reservation Number is quoted as a Reference
  • Cancellation – Fully refundable up to 8 days prior to arrival subject to an admin fee of R500
  • Cancellation 7 days or less prior to arrival 100% of the accommodation amount will be charged
  • In the event of a “no show” 100% of the reservation will be charge
  • In event of premature departure, the full extent of stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged

 

GROUP BOOKINGS (4 + rooms), ENTIRE LODGE including TOUR OPERATORS

  • 25% Deposit payment is required to secure the reservation. 
  • Deposits are payable via a payment link or via bank transfer for which proof of payment is to be emailed to info@dezeven.co.za
  • Please ensure the Reservation Number is quoted as a Reference
  • 75% Balance payable 30 days prior to arrival.
  • Note: There may be some bookings that will have bespoke payment policies
  • Cancellation within 21 days of arrival – 50% of the reservation will be charged.
  • Cancellation within 7 days of arrival – 100% of the reservation will be charged.
  • In the event of a “no show” 100% of the reservation will be charged
  • In event of premature departure, the full extent of stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged.

 

MINIMUM STAY OF TWO NIGHTS

There is so much to do in our little valley that a one night stay is always disappointing to the guests therefore we made the decision to have a minimum stay of two nights.

 

CHILD POLICY

  • No children under the age of 16 years, including no babies
  • NB: If any guests arrive with children under this age, we regret to advise that we will have no option but to turn the guest/s away and guest/s will forfeit 100% of the payment made to De Zeven

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

  • Check In time is from 14h00
  • Early bag drop and storage can be made with prior arrangement
  • Arrival later than 20h00 must be communicated when reservation is made
  • Check Out time is by 11h00
  • Later departures must be arranged in advance with reception to ensure the room is available. If this goes beyond 12h00 and all facilities are used for the day of departure this will be tariffed at 25% of the nightly room rate. Alternatively, luggage can be stored at our premises for the day while guests are out. Invoices will be prepared upon departure and payment can be made via credit/debit card
  • Guests are required to inform reception the day before if they will check out before 08h00 to allow invoices to be prepared
  • All Guests (including their family members, visitors or invitees) entering onto or residing at the premises do so entirely at their own risk
  • Right of Admission is reserved

 

BREAKFAST / MEALS / DIETARY / DISCLAIMER

  • Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served from 08h00 – 10h30
  • Earlier breakfast may be arranged with reception / office
  • Packed breakfast may be arranged with reception / office the day before this is required
  • Light Dinner Meals subject to availability may be arranged prior to 15h00 and will be served no later than 19h30.
  • Special dietary requirements must be communicated when reservation is made so that we can endeavour to accommodate the special requirements.
  • While every effort will be made to accommodate dietary requirements / allergies, we request that in the cases of severe allergies guests carry necessary medications to manage any possible allergic reaction that may occur on premise whether the result of items consumed on or off premise.

 

THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS

  • Guests are liable for all costs incurred if booked on a guests behalf
  • Terms and Conditions for cancellations applied are those of the third-party whom the booking has been made with

 

PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL OFFERS

  • Promotions and special offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special offers unless otherwise stipulated

 

Due to seasonal refurbishment of the guest rooms, communal areas, décor and fittings may vary from the photographs on our website and booking partners.
