Welcome to the neighbourhood – a guide to our wonderful neighbours in the Banhoek Valley
While still relatively undiscovered, the Banhoek Valley and Conservancy has a growing number of restaurants, wine estates, hiking and cycling trails and of course stunning viewpoints on beautiful estates. This is our lovely neighbourhood and if you're planning a stay at De Zeven, you'll enjoy this guide to our wonderful neighbours.
Summer at De Zeven Guesthouse in the Banhoek Valley
We love summertime in the Banhoek Valley. It’s a time to explore the many trails and tracks that criss-cross the mountains, to wander through the vineyards and to taste the delicious wines that they yield. It’s a time for sunbathing, swimming and sundowners on the patio. Summer is a time to celebrate, and at De Zeven, we like to celebrate in style. Here are some of the adventures that lie in wait in the Banhoek Valley:
The Magic of Rare Bubbles
On the 1st and 2nd of December 2018 the socialites of Cape Town will once again gather in front of the Huguenot monument for the annual celebration of ‘The Magic of Bubbles’ at the Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival! Every year this event is a smashing hit with the whole of Franschhoek getting booked-up in a flash, but this year a couple of things are different. This year new opportunities are bubbling up.
Introducing De Zeven
On the 3rd of October 2018, a Facebook page with the name Lucky Number Zeven appeared – and along with it… a riddle.
